Over the last several weeks and months I’ve had a lot of people wanting to join MEFA, but the start dates just don’t work for their schedules.
Or they want to start right away.
Or they’ve been hit by the cost of living crisis, and can’t afford the full enrolment fee.
On top of this, I’ve been insanely busy, and haven’t opened a new group in a couple of months.
So I’ve decided to do something I haven’t done in well over a year:
The “MEFA Self Study Edition” course.
It’s exactly the same as the normal MEFA course but does NOT include my personal feedback on the homework tasks or email support (but you can join the weekly group coaching calls I do for clients, anyway).
Honestly?
I think the feedback is important.
So I hesitated to do something like this for a long time, but last year I found it worked out just fine, and for the right kind of person, it’s enough.
The reality is, doing the feedback is by far my most time-consuming task, and it’s only manageable if everyone in a group starts at the same time, and does the same tasks each week. Hence fixed start times
So basically you can’t have those things mentioned above AND the feedback.
It just doesn’t work.
And it’s one or the other.
Everything else about the Self Study Edition is exactly the same. You’ll still get the 12 sessions, homework, worksheets, supplementary materials, bonuses and you can ask questions via the weekly group calls.
And you’ll get access for 14 weeks.
You can do it all faster than that, if you want. But 14 weeks maximum (I do this because I do NOT want people joining then thinking, oh, I’ll do it later and never actually using it).
Again, the only real difference is:
You won’t get feedback on your homework tasks (you’re on your own with that) and there is no email support unless it’s a technical problem.
You’ll get instant access to the entire course (rather than starting on a specific date and doing one session a week together with a group meaning you can start immediately, and go as fast as you want).
A couple of important points:
- You’ll access the course via the Doing English app (this is the only way you can access it, so you must have a smartphone or iPad that can run my app. Most people reading this already have it anyway, but if you don’t and you’re not sure… reply to this email and I’ll help you set it up).
- Just the same as the main course, there are no refunds on enrolment for any reason. I simply don’t want people joining and not doing the work.
If you haven’t read the main information page, you can find it here:
I’m starting the Self-Study Edition at €400. I say “starting”, because as people join, I will put the price up and up.
Finally, IF you’ve read the information page… AND understand the differences (i.e., no feedback, non-technical supper email questions, access via app only and limited to 14 weeks) you can get instant access to the course here:
