Why You Can Only Understand Your English Teacher?

I see it all the time: People waste time "practising" English with partners and conversation teachers, then wonder why they can't speak English well in the real, fast-paced, high-pressure situations they actually need to use English. Hardly surprising, really. Why? Watch the video: https://vimeo.com/363197280 So, as you see, the way you learn English should match the way you actually use English. Instead of wasting your time with pointless "practise", learn the language you need then get out into the world and do real things, in real situations. Yes, it's harder. Yes, it's uncomfortable.
